GTA VI: Increased Ferie Demands in November – A Fenomeno Strikes the United States

In the United States, in fact, ferie demands increased significantly for November. Is this a coincidence? According to the data provided by BambooHR, a company specialized in human resources, an increase of up to 17% of the requests for paid permits for Thursday 19 November. A peculiar timing, no doubt. The GTA 6 release seems to have a real impact on the world of work. Despite the apparent random nature, the trend was confirmed by BambooHR itself. The company recorded an increase between 9% and 17% compared to the historical averages of the period for the third Thursday of November this year. While recognizing that establishing a precise cause-effect relationship is complex, the company attributes a part of the increase to the GTA 6 exit. The demands for holidays could, in fact, extend to Friday, allowing workers to take advantage of a prolonged weekend to devote themselves to the new title. It is estimated that the game may take about 80 hours of play to be completed.
