GTA VI: Farewell Inventario Infinito - Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos Limited to Four Arms

GTA VI says goodbye to the infinite inventory: Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos can bring four firearms with them. The new title of Rockstar Games is approaching, aiming at an unpublished realism, and this also reflects on the management of weapons. As Rob Nelson, co-study director of Rockstar Games explains, the GTA VI armor system will no longer be based on the arbitrariness typical of previous titles such as Grand Theft Auto V. In the latter one, it was possible to extract a pump rifle from nowhere in front of the passersby, triggering exaggerated reactions in the environment. This mechanic, according to Nelson, would not be sustainable in GTA VI, which aspires to a level of realism and higher detail. The protagonists, Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, will have two long weapons (assault fires, pumps or machine guns), two guns, explosives and white weapons. The system will take into account the type of weapon and how it is transported: long weapons cannot be branded freely in public, nor can they be hidden within the same person without consequences. If the player breaks a long weapon in the city, the reaction of the environment – and its inhabitants – would radically change: citizens will react to danger, escape, attack the character or alert the forces of order. This attention to detail, along with other elements such as car management, interaction with Lucia Caminos and training system for Jason Duval (muscle strengthening, physical activity), is an integral part of Rockstar Games' ambitious vision for GTA VI. The story will take place in Leonida, the imaginary state in which the events are set, and the management of weapons will be a crucial element in the gaming experience.
