Rockstar Games has finally revealed the date of the event that will give an in-depth look at Grand Theft Auto VI. The presentation, called “extended look” by the software house, was scheduled for August 27, 2026 at 21:00 (Italian time) and will be broadcast exclusively on Netflix. The event, presumably a long-lasting video gameplay, will be available immediately after broadcasting on Netflix even on YouTube channels and Rockstar Games officers, starting at 3:00 am on August 28th. It is expected that the preview will show details about the gameplay, the passage between the protagonists (Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, according to the latest indiscretions) and the different game activities that will characterize Grand Theft Auto VI. This event is a crucial moment in waiting for the title to be launched. Nel trailer rilasciato in anteprima, il gameplay era più incentrato su Cal Hampton e Raul Bautista, personaggi che, per quanto promettenti, sembrano avere un ruolo cruciale nella narrazione secondo le prime informazioni. Il fatto che l'extended look inizi con Duval e Caminos potrebbe essere una mossa strategica per attirare nuovi giocatori abituati al tipo di storia più “street” tipico della saga, ma mi pare anche un’occasione mancata per presentare subito il fulcro del gioco, ovvero l’intreccio tra le due linee narrative. Resta da vedere se la collaborazione con Netflix sarà in grado di generare un vero e proprio buzz attorno al titolo, o se si tratterà solo di una promozione standard di gioco.
