The Total Cost to Dive into GTA VI: Over 1,700 Dollars?

According to a widespread estimate, the cost to fully enjoy Grand Theft Auto VI amounts to $1,853, but it is a calculated value by adding all Rockstar and Sony products sold separately, without including an official package. The basic game costs $79.99 for the standard edition and $99.99 for that Ultimate – the only investment needed to play GTA 6. The rest of the figure, including the $399.99 Collector’s Box (which includes a pair of Oakley glasses as the main element), the PS5 Pro consoles (899.99 dollars), several DualSense controllers (84.99 dollars per one) and exclusive vinyls, is optional. No one is obliged to spend all this money to play. The total cost is around $1,000 if you choose the PS5 Pro, the best hardware for the game, plus the Collector’s Box that brings the total to approximately $1,400. If you opt for all official items – two controllers, the limited vinyl and the Collector's Edition – the cost rises to approximately $1,695 before taxes and shipping. Only by adding a Netflix subscription and other non-official products you reach the indicative figure of $1,853. Rockstar is focusing on the hype by creating a wide range of premium items, such as the $400 Collector's Box, $85 controllers and liquid-filled vinyls. Although there is no official Collector's Edition in the sense of the Grand Theft Auto V, several items can be purchased separately, which are not necessary but contribute to the "life" GTA 6, as experts have repeatedly stressed. Remember, on the launch day, on November 19, you will only need a console (probably the one you already own) and a $80 game. Everything else is Rockstar that bets on the desire of some to own the entire GTA 6 experience, with merchandising and accessories included.
