John Ricchio previews a GTA 6 with Open World "Mostruoso": the map will be much larger than we expect?

The question of the size of the map of Grand Theft Auto VI has become the subject of debate among fans since the first trailer. A former producer of Rockstar Games, John Ricchio, who worked on titles such as Grand Theft Auto V, Red Dead Redemption and Max Payne 3, provided his assessment, hypothesized an open world of unprecedented proportions. Ricchio, analyzing the evolution of Rockstar among the different generations of games, predicts that GTA 6 can offer a “mode” experience, focusing on a map much more extensive than the past, with a level of detail and higher density. However, the former manufacturer emphasizes that it is not official information, but a forecast based on his experience. Despite the reservoir maintained by Rockstar Games, the words of Ricchio nourish the enthusiasm of the community, which hopes in a vast and detailed open world as what is seen in Vice City, Port Gellhorn, Grassrivers, Mount Kalaga, Ambrosia, Ocean Beach. The real challenge for Rockstar could lie in the density of the open world: more vibrant cities, environments rich in interactive elements, realistically distributed activities and a higher level of involvement than previous chapters. An approach that would allow to create a credible world without necessarily focusing on extending dimensions. It remains to be seen whether the map will also include areas such as Vapid Stanier, or there will be avatars of Real Dimez, Dre'Quan Priest and Boobie Ike. The wait for the final size of the map remains high.
