GTA VI: Video Fake Invasion Generated by AI – Rockstar Reaction

The fake videos of GTA VI are quickly becoming a social media issue, with artificially created clips that are being shot for official previews of the game. The mechanism is simple: the lack of an official trailer arouses a strong curiosity and in this vacuum they infiltrate films generated automatically, some of which have reached the million views despite obvious errors that expose the artificial origin. Viral clips that collapse at first glance A video set on a yacht, shared on Instagram, accumulated 1.1 million views, but its illusion dissolves rapidly. The map shows an unlikely “Vapid” (Vice City), the screened texts are full of deformed words and different characters speak with the same voice. Another surfing clip has reached 1,2 million views, getting around 33 thousand likes, while a video on TikTok has exceeded 4.4 million views and 120 thousand likes. In this case the deception is almost comic: the protagonist car changes model in the middle of animation, since the generator fails to maintain consistent forms and perspectives. There are also absurd cases, such as two characters fighting over a plane that seems to fly backwards, with the tiny bit that signals city streets while the scene takes place in the middle of the ocean. What does Rockstar have to do with it? It is important to point out immediately: these contents have nothing to do with the work of Rockstar Games. Take-Two has already clarified that generating AI is not part of the construction of GTA VI, described as a world made by hand, building by building and district after district. Viral clips are therefore unofficial material and do not represent an accurate view of the finished game. Rockstar Intervention Rockstar is intervening, removing by DMCA reports some of the most popular movies on X (Twitter). The move was positively welcomed by the community, given the potential confusion that these videos would create among less experienced users and would end up occupying spaces where fans look for authentic news. The cause of this proliferation lies in the lack of a trailer gameplay that can satisfy the hunger of information. The same discussions about the possibility of new details in August show how every communication silence is filled with noise, reconstructions and now these fake videos created by AI.
