GTA 6 on PC: the forecast on the waiting time of the debut

GTA 6 could arrive on PC with a slight delay than the console. Although the launch is scheduled for 19 November 2026, the most optimistic estimates suggest that the PC version could debut in the first quarter of 2028. This prediction is based on the development times of Rockstar Games and the previous outputs of ambitious titles such as GTA 5 (which arrived on PC about 19 months after the console debut) and Red Dead Redemption 2 (about 13 months). The analysis also considers the statements of Dan Clacy, managing director of Twitch, which previews a significant increase of spectators in 2027, a potentially key moment for the launch of the online multiplayer component of GTA 6. Rockstar could initially focus on console versions, and then spend more time developing the PC version. Despite this, the exclusion of the public PC appears unlikely, given the growing importance of the PC market for Take-Two Interactive, which estimates the potential sales between 45% and 50% for top titles such as GTA 6. Rockstar has confirmed PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S as official launch platforms, but has not yet issued specific statements regarding PC availability.
