GTA VI: Netflix Releases Three-Episode Data with Gameplay by Beyond a Hour

A leak of news from the Portuguese Netflix page revealed details about three episodes of gameplay for GTA VI, each of which exceeds the time of duration. The discovery emerged after a Reddit user identified a list of no longer available durations for episodes: the first of 23 minutes and 37 seconds, the second of 24 minutes and 41 seconds, and the third of 18 minutes and 29 seconds. The total is around 66 minutes, feeding speculations on Rockstar’s presentation during the event “Grand Theft Auto VI Extended Look” on August 27. The alleged overview of the episodes was resumed by GameRant and Insider Gaming, despite the rapid removal of data from the Netflix page and the associated screenshot. The discovery is part of the picture outlined by Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick, who announced the Extended Look as an "antipasto", anticipating further presentations – "main dish and dessert" – related to the game. The possibility of three separate episodes raises questions about their release: simultaneous or gradual in the period before the launch of the game in November? A calendar of monthly outputs seems plausible, with the first episode available from August 27, followed by two more in September and October, to maintain high attention until the official release. The specific content of the three episodes remains uncertain. Although a complete extension of the robbery mission is unlikely on three such long episodes, each bet could focus on specific aspects of gameplay, plot and open environment of Leonida. The partnership with Netflix makes the idea of a multi-phase presentation particularly interesting, and the maximum feedback will arrive on August 27, 2026 at 21:00 CEST, when Rockstar will broadcast the GTA VI Extended Look on Netflix (available in preorder on Amazon). Non mi convince affatto questa idea di tre episodi così lunghi. Sulla base dei precedenti “antipasti” di Rockstar, e considerando l’annuncio di Zelnick su “piatto principale e dessert”, mi aspetto un assaggio, qualcosa di conciso per creare hype, non un episodio da oltre un'ora. Il fatto che siano stati dati questi tempi fa pensare a un tentativo, forse maldestro, di farci credere in una profondità narrativa tale che non c’è. Il mio sospetto è che si tratti di mostrare solo frammenti del gameplay in aree specifiche di Leonida per valorizzare l'ambiente e le meccaniche di guida e combattimento, lasciando la storia in un secondo momento. L'idea di un calendario mensile di uscite, se vera, è molto più probabile per mantenere alta l’attenzione, ma a questo punto mi aspetto contenuti piuttosto brevi, forse 15-20 minuti ciascuno, focalizzati su singole attività o quest minori all'interno della mappa principale. Il fatto che si siano cancellati i dati e lo screenshot suggerisce una reazione rapida da parte di Netflix per evitare problemi legali, ma allo stesso tempo evidenzia quanto la divulgazione di informazioni sul gioco sia un rischio concreto.
