GTA 6: External preview in Netflix Streaming, Focus on Protagonists Lucia and Jason
Finally, in a few weeks, we'll know more about Grand Theft Auto VI. Rockstar Games announced the arrival of a long preview that will initially be available on Netflix, then be released on YouTube. Most likely, the streaming giant made a deal with the Take-Two publisher. The preview will debut at 21:00 on 27 August and will last an exclusive temporary, accessible for a short time even to those who do not own a Netflix subscription, waiting about three hours. From 3:00 on August 28, the preview will be available on YouTube. As expected, the timing was respected. We continue to talk about Rockstar Games’ intentions to release new content for Grand Theft Auto VI during the summer, bringing closer and closer the planned release for November 19 – three and a half months are counted. The preview, of which at the moment we do not know the precise format, promises something more full of the normal trailers. The teaser published today shows the two protagonists of the game, Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval, armed and with the face covered, probably ready for a robbery. The game will be set at Vice City (inspired in Miami), in the state of Leonida, on a particularly extended map. Some crucial points remain clear: in particular, support for 60 frames per second. This will be confirmed with the upcoming preview. It is also certain that the game will not be available in a physical version, even the one provided with housing will contain only a code for downloading the digital version. Se Take-Two si impegna a una distribuzione massiccia tramite ogni piattaforma social, come sembra intenzionarsi di fare, l’esclusiva su Netflix rischia di creare un'attesa ancora più alta e forse anche frustrazione per chi non può accedere immediatamente all'anteprima tramite abbonamento. Mi convince poco la strategia di Rockstar, che potrebbe risultare controproducente se i primi feedback saranno negativi legati al tempo di visione limitato o alla difficoltà di accesso. Resta da vedere quanto l’anteprima riuscirà a sfruttare l'interesse generato dal teaser rilasciato oggi, che già mostra Lucia Caminos e Jason Duval in un contesto di rapina, confermando l'ambientazione a Vice City e nello stato di Leonida su una mappa estesa. L'assenza di supporto ai 60 frame al secondo resta il punto più critico da verificare durante la preview; se confermato, potrebbe influenzare significativamente le aspettative dei giocatori, considerando che il target di GTA è proprio la fluidità dell'esperienza di guida e azione.
