GTA 6: The First Radio Stations of Leonida Revelate – A New Sound World by Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval

GTA 6 is preparing the ground for an unprecedented sound experience. Rockstar Games unveiled the first six radio stations that will accompany the action on the map of Leonida, less than a month after the game was released on November 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. As announced by Rockstar itself, players can now preview stations through the Music section of the official website. The six stations outline a small sound atlas of Leonida. Cocoteo FM, with El Martillo and La Gata, celebrates contemporary Latin music – bachata, merengue, dembow and reggaeton. Back Country Radio carries the rebel country in Grassrivers and Port Gellhorn thanks to MW and Delta Dawne, interviewed by the traveling envoy, the marsh meteorologist and Mud Dog Mike, who will connect from the cabin of his airboat. AfroBank FM, with Burna and Palmsy, combines classics of the twentieth century, less known pearls and contemporary sounds like amapiano and 3-step, all under the rhythm of "gbedu". For metal enthusiasts, The Chamber 106.6 offers songs from the 1980s onwards with DJ Kerry and DJ Tom, exploring the roots of the metal scene of Leonida. Flash FM, the return of the iconic radio of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, proposes Robyn and Alex with a pop music program, while Dirty South Classics is entrusted to Trick and Trina, with the great classics of rap and hip-hop of the South scene. A surprising novelty is the introduction of on-demand podcasts – the first time in the series. Stations and podcasts will be available by car or on foot, via smartphones and headphones/health of the protagonists. Rockstar promises more details about the dynamic soundtrack of the game in the coming weeks. This detail emphasizes the ambition of this chapter: the radio is no longer just a housing accompaniment, but becomes an integral part of the travel experience for Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos. The integration of podcasts indicates an innovative approach to the sound world of the game, expanding the possibilities of interaction and immersion for the player.
