Vice City Online: Rockstar Renewing Domains and Svela Possible Sequel Multiplayer?

The audience around the world, while the release of the next generation approaches, can’t wait to receive a big announcement: Grand Theft Auto 6. The next chapter of the saga has been surrounded by noise and leaks for a long time, but we still do not know anything official, not even the setting. In this regard, new clues are pushing players to believe that Vice City is the city chosen by Rockstar Games. Why do they think that? Very simply, Take Two – that we remember to be the mother house of Rockstar Games and many other developers – has renewed two very interesting web domains: gtavi.com and vicecityonline. com. The renewal of these domains took place last spring and only recently the information appeared on Reddit. As always, renewal of domains is not an official announcement: societies protect multiple domains even without really wanting to use them. However, it is interesting that the second domain – “Vice City Online” – does not simply refer to Vice City, supposed setting of GTA 6, but to "Vice City Online": possible that Rockstar Games has already conceived the successor of GTA Online? We know that the multiplayer component of GTA 5 will be available on next-gen in 2021. “Vice City Online” could be a second setting within the same game, semi-independent on the one already present in GTA Online. Another possibility is that Rockstar wants to create an independent game, with which to replace the current one. In any case, the transition to GTA 6 and the new online component will be "complex" to manage for developers. We hope that the company will make an announcement as soon as possible. However, considering that GTA 5 will also arrive on next-gen next year, we fear it is more than a hope than a real possibility. Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos will face the challenges of this new iteration.
