Gameplay and Full Map of GTA VI Trapelate Online: Take-Two Intervention

They are circulating online video gameplay and an image that seems to represent the entire game map for GTA VI, although with caution: their authenticity has not yet been verified. This is probably about changes created by artificial intelligence or very old builds of the title. However, Take-Two and Rockstar are removing original clips and numerous reuploads published by external accounts, an action that often precedes the spread of authentic material not intended for the public. Among the leaks, an exhibition Jason Duval engaged in a mini-game of basketball in the courtyard of his house on the beach, already identified in the second official trailer. Another video depicts him driving a butcher pickup, which crashes into a van triggering a collision with the driver. The spread of the material was claimed by Cyberleek, who defined the operation a form of protest against Take-Two's decision not to release a real physical edition of GTA VI. As you know, the boxed versions of the game do not include any disk, but a code to download the digital version. All this happens next to the extended presentation of GTA VI, scheduled on August 27 at 21:00 Italian on Netflix. The video will also be reloaded on Rockstar Games' YouTube channel at 27:00. Il fatto che Cyberleek ritragga l’operazione come una forma di protesta contro la mancata uscita di un'edizione fisica è interessante. Mi fa pensare a quanto Take-Two stia mettendo sotto pressione per giustificare questa scelta, soprattutto perché la fanbase italiana, e non solo, sembra particolarmente affezionata al concept dell’edizione fisica. Quel mini-gioco di basket con Jason Duval, visto il trailer ufficiale che ha già messo in risalto l'ambientazione costiera, mi convince poco. Mi aspetto di vedere una maggiore integrazione tra le build trapelate e la narrazione principale, non solo sequenze isolate come quella del basket. La colluttazione nel furgone, sebbene prevedibile, potrebbe indicare un’attenzione all'azione e al combattimento che si rifletteva già da tempo nelle prime informazioni sulla trama, con Raul Bautista che ne era coinvolto in più occasioni. Il fatto che Netflix stia scommettendo su questo materiale, nonostante la sua incertezza, suggerisce una strategia di "get it while it lasts" per quanto riguarda il gameplay. La pressione per l'uscita del single-player resta comunque altissima, e considerando le priorità dichiarate da Take-Two – come riportato da Duval – mi aspetto un’ulteriore intensificazione degli sforzi concentrati su quell'aspetto, soprattutto alla luce delle continue fughe di notizie.
