GTA VI: The Safehouse of Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval Revelated – A Shadow from Red Dead Redemption 2

GTA 6 seems really destined to leave the mark, with new information on gameplay and elements that could make the planet neglect at least one day. The development team integrated a key feature inspired by Red Dead Redemption 2: the safehouse. These new residences of the protagonists, Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval, will not be simple points of passage, but real operating centers where to manage weapons, vehicles and equipment. An idea reminiscent of Rockstar's western camps, allowing players to organize their own arsenal, manage a garage and customize clothing, as in Red Dead Redemption 2. But it does not end here: a "pacifica" mode of play has also been introduced. As shown in the extended trailer, Jason and Lucia can identify and neutralize targets through weak points marked by red indicators, thus avoiding direct clashes. This mechanics could be linked to the system of choices and consequences of the game and give access to alternative endings. However, it is plausible that in some situations players will be forced to resort to violence. The Max Payne 3 sequences seem to have influenced the gunplay, using the "Bullet Time" (without diving) and the ability to activate rallenty during the eliminations of enemies, emphasizing the action as in the previous Rockstar title. Finally, a new mechanics linked to the police and the level of research was introduced. The stars to indicate the level of risk are six instead of five, but the real novelty is the system of the "criminal profile". Player actions, such as shooting from cameras or using specific vehicles, affect the level of research and make the gameplay more realistic and deep.
