GTA VI: Rockstar Introduces a Public Transport Network to Leonida

A new cover article on GTA 6, published by the British video game magazine Edge, unveiled interesting details about the game world, as well as the size of the map and the exploratable interior. The article also highlights the introduction of a public transport network to Leonida, which includes buses and on-time trains. The system, according to Edge, will be run by Rockstar and will see buses that follow pre-established routes with defined times, as pointed out by the development manager Phil Hooker during the tests, who admits to regularly wait for stops and verify the arrival time of the buses. This is an absolute novelty for the GTA series, after the GTA 4 metropolitan system (with 26 stations and eight lines) and the lightest GTA 5 network (11 stops). The implementation of this public transport network is part of Rockstar's commitment to making Leonida a vibrant and dynamic environment. Some fans, on Reddit, express the enthusiasm for the possibility to travel in a relaxed way with buses, imagining even scenarios in which they deal with the work of a driver instead of being simple passengers. It remains to be seen if Rockstar will offer additional work opportunities related to this system. This public transport network, available for preorder on Amazon, represents a potential breakthrough in the gameplay of GTA VI.
