Rockstar updates the PEGI classifications of GTA 6: the reason behind the “sex scenes”

Every detail, waiting for November 19th, seems to weigh like a swan. Indeed, the timing has been so dilating to have the most passionate attack on any spiraglio. Everything, in order to have a picture just wide for what will be GTA 6, the long-awaited title of Rockstar Games. From what emerged, the development house updated age classifications with the addition of a specific wording “sex scenes”. The correlation between this change and the explicit content of the game remains uncertain. The “sex scenes” in GTA 6 are really an amazing element, given the narrative premise focused on the romantic relationship between Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos? The new detailed descriptions, published on PlayStation Store New Zealand and Australia, indicate the presence of explicit sequences that resulted in the rise of the minimum age for the game. This change, however, does not seem to be a radical innovation. GTA 6 revolves around the relationship between Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, and the trailers have already mentioned, without too many words, the intimacy between the two protagonists. Sex is not the only explicit element indicated in official descriptions: blood, intense violence and use of drugs will be present. Considering the genre of the title, this prediction does not surprise. Compared to the previous chapter, where only the word “sex” was indicated, it is assumed that GTA 6 may contain more elaborate sequences than short questionable narrative scenes, although it is only a speculation. The distinction between PEGI 18 in Europe and M for Mature (17+) in the United States could be linked to the typical violence of the franchise rather than the explicit “sex scenes”.
