Rockstar Games released the official launch trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI, offering fans a further look at Vice City, its two protagonists and the criminal organization waiting for them when the game arrives on November 19, 2026. Posted on October 15, the trailer of about 90 seconds quickly attracted online attention, arriving more than a month before the long-awaited sequel release. The video features film images, new plot details and original music from the French electronic duo Justice. The trailer opens with Jason discussing his difficult farewell from the army, and then focus on his relationship with Lucia, the other playable protagonist of the game. Their partnership is at the centre of a large criminal conspiracy at Leonida, the fictional Florida version created by Rockstar. Timing is particularly noteworthy. His connection with Lucia becomes increasingly important as the trailer proceeds. According to Rockstar's official announcement, the two are involved in a conspiracy that extends to Leonida after a seemingly simple criminal work goes wrong. The trailer emphasizes the distinctive atmosphere of Vice City, combining sunny streets, nightlife, violence and criminal activity that has defined the franchise for decades. Despite being called the launch trailer, the video focuses on film narrative rather than explaining game systems or introducing new specific mechanisms. Justice at the Centre One of the biggest revelations of the trailer is the soundtrack of the game. Rockstar confirmed that the French electronic duo Justice composed the original soundtrack for Grand Theft Auto VI, bringing their characteristic electronic sound into the franchise. The trailer features their new single, "Flower in a Hurricane", with Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. The song is also included in Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, which Rockstar made available for pre-saving on the main streaming platforms and for pre-order in physical formats. Music has long been an important element of the Grand Theft Auto series, especially through its fictional radio stations. Justice's involvement also gives the incoming game an original musical identity as well as his tracks. Unusual Storm of the Trailer Release a launch trailer more than a month before the game becomes available is an unusual marketing decision, particu
