GTA VI: After 13 years – All You Need to Know

By GTA6 Hub editorial team

Grand Theft Auto 6 is at the door, after 13 years from GTA 5. The launch of the title, scheduled for 19 November 2026, is one of the most important events in the world of video games. Considering the huge success of his predecessor, this new chapter could be the most profitable launch of the decade. GTA 6 will allow players to freely explore the fictitious state of Leonida – a kind of Florida analog – and is expected to be one of the most expensive titles ever made. If you are ready to join the crowd at the exit, we have collected all the information you need to start immediately. When's GTA 6 coming out? GTA 6 will be available globally on 19 November 2026, in the middle of the Christmas shopping season. The game has been delayed several times in the past, but there are no signs of a further postponement to the horizon. If you pre-order digitally, you can start playing immediately at local hours on November 19th. At first the launch will only offer single-player story mode, so don't expect to be able to access the online multiplayer immediately. On which platforms is GTA 6 available? At the time of launch, GTA 6 will be available exclusively for the latest generation consoles: PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S. Despite some modern games being released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Rockstar decided to exclude these platforms due to the high technical requirements of the game and its systems. How much does GTA 6 cost? GTA 6 has a slightly higher price than the new release of video games, set at $80 for the standard edition. For the most avid fans, the Ultimate Edition is also available and a bizarre physical bundle that does not include the game, but is rich in collectibles. Here's how you articulate: * Standard edition ($79.99): Includes full game with single-player campaign. Available both digitally and in physical store. * Ultimate Edition ($99.99): Exclusive for digital platforms. Includes the game, as well as cosmetics, vehicles and vouchers for online gameplay. * Bundle Collector ($399.99): Officially called “Grand Theft Auto VI: The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection”, this bundle does not include a game code. It contains many physical collection objects, including a statuette by Macca the Coccodrillo, Oakley glasses, a snapback hat and more. An important clarification: if you want to buy a physical copy of the game in the store, the box does not include a disk. Instead, you will receive a digital code to redeem in your console store. Are there any pre-order bonuses? Of course! If you pre-order GTA 6 before the launch of November 19, you will get the pack “Vintage Vice City”, which includes various cosmetics inspired by the atmosphere of Vice City and another collector’s item.
