Just over two weeks before the release of the new chapter of the Grand Theft Auto saga, set for November 19, 2026, and Rockstar Games unveiled a detail that is triggering the anger of fans: the official trailer “Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look” will debut exclusively on Netflix on August 27 at 21:00, now Italian. The decision to make the preview available before its general spread surprised the community, which poured on social media to express its disappointment. As reported by Reddit and the main forums dedicated to the game, many players criticize the marketing strategy, calling it incomprehensible and trying to exploit a streaming service for an advertising of a title already widely pre-ordered. The trailer, directed by Brandon Riegg, Vice-President Nonfiction Series of Netflix, offers a thorough look on the new iteration of the saga, set at Vice City and in the imaginary state of Leonida (inspired by Florida). The story follows the events of Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, involved in a robbery gone wrong. The game's release is scheduled for 19 November 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, after a postponement of almost a year compared to the original launch date. The Ultimate edition is already available at prices above 100 euros.
