GTA VI Preorders: Pachter's analysis points at a record price

The wait for GTA VI continues with the second trailer of the game, which could be presented during the Summer Game Fest 2025. At the same time, the question of the cost of launch remains open, fueled by speculations on the possible superaction of the usual 79.99 euros. This hypothesis was launched by analyst Michael Pachter of Wedbush Securities, who does not exclude a price greater than $100/euro for the game Rockstar Games. According to Pachter, the company could offer consumers an incentive to pay such sum, rewarding them with a large amount of gaming currency to spend on GTA Online. It is remembered that Activision has already integrated an online gaming experience with a premium game, as it did with Call of Duty Warzone and Mobile, before the release of the annual chapter of the series, obtaining a 40% increase in sales of Call of Duty premium. Take-Two, instead, hopes for a successful integration between GTA Online and GTA 6, which could lead to a price of $100 for the premium game. The forecasts are based on hypotheses and speculations of the analyst and his team, who try to anticipate the strategies of Take-Two and Rockstar Games.
