GTA VI: Rockstar Svela Stations Radio and the Innovative Listening Function Out of Car

It is less and less at the exit of Grand Theft Auto VI, or GTA VI as we will call it, and Rockstar Games continues to release new details on the game while the marketing campaign intensifies. This time the attention is directed to the soundtrack of the title, a key element of the series that awaits more and more fans. After the official presentation on Netflix (which exceeded 31 million views), Rockstar Games unveiled some of the radio stations that will be available in GTA VI. As we know well, the Grand Theft Auto titles are famous for their extensive musical selection, and the next chapter promises an even greater variety. For the first time in the history of the saga, you can listen to music outside the car. The protagonists, Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, will be equipped with headphones and earphones that will allow them to tune on radio stations while moving on foot, exploiting the smartphone integrated in the game. This innovation radically changes the musical experience within the world of play, abandoning traditional listening related to driving vehicles. Rockstar also announced the presence of podcast on demand, available both during car trips and while exploring the world on foot. At the moment, details of podcast content have not yet been disclosed. Among the radio stations unveiled, Cocoteo FM stands out dedicated to modern Latin music (bachata, merengue and reggaeton), Back Country Radio with its country music selection, AfroBank FM with African musical genres, The Chamber 106.6 for lovers of classical metal of the 1980s, Flash FM offering pop music and Dirty South Classics, focused on rap and hip-hop of the South scene of the United States. GTA VI will arrive on November 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with a physical edition scheduled for the soundtrack of the game.
