Rockstar launches the Collector's Box "The Goodtime State - Vice City Collection" at 399.99 Euro
Rockstar has just announced an exclusive Collector’s Box dedicated to the launch of Grand Theft Auto VI, although – as its title – does not include the game itself. The new line, called "The Goodtime State - Vice City Collection", celebrates the aesthetic kitsch and retro of the county of Leonida, with a particular focus on Ocean Beach and Port Gellhorn. The box, produced in limited edition and available in preorder at the price of 399,99 Euro through the Store Rockstar, offers a wide range of collectors’ items: a statuette of Macca l’Alligatore, sunglasses Oakley Frogskins, a shoulder bag of Leonida Keys, a snapback hat New Era 9FORTY, a magnetic mirror of Macca l’Alligatore, a glass of Chunke spoon The preorder will remain available until stocks are exhausted and the box will be shipped to launch the game on November 19th. VERDETTO: MISTO Il prezzo di 399,99€ per una scatola da collezione focalizzata su Ocean Beach e Port Gellhorn è sicuramente un investimento significativo. La quantità di oggetti inclusi - statuetta di Macca, occhiali Oakley, borsa Leonida Keys, ecc. - sembra piuttosto ampia e mirata a soddisfare i collezionisti più incalliti. Tuttavia, l’esclusione del gioco vero e proprio è un aspetto cruciale da considerare: si paga per oggetti relativi al gioco, non per il gioco stesso. Questo crea una sorta di “pay-to-look” che potrebbe risultare frustrante per chi cerca di vivere l'esperienza GTA VI in prima persona. La scelta di concentrarsi su Vice City e Leonida sembra un’ottima idea per sfruttare l’estetica iconica della saga, ma l’isolamento del set da collezione dal gioco principale solleva interrogativi sulla sua longevità come oggetto di valore; senza il gioco, la scatola rischia di diventare solo una bella esposizione.
