GTA VI: Meteorology Dynamics and Fauna Complex – A World in Constant Evolution

Rockstar Games continues to reveal details about Grand Theft Auto 6, presenting an even more immersive game world thanks to the introduction of a dynamic weather system and an incredibly varied fauna. According to Game Informer, the new weather system will be “very much more localized and persistent” than previous saga titles. The clouds will be totally dynamic, with the possibility to cross the map and to generate different climatic conditions even in geographically close areas: from the serene sky to the spectacular cumulonembi clouds typical of Florida storms, with lightning, strong winds and torrential rains. A distinctive feature will be the persistent impact of atmospheric events. A thunderstorm may rage in an area while the player is elsewhere, leaving consequences like flooded roads, puddles and rainbows. The role of driving, flight or other activities has not yet been fully clarified by Rockstar. The fauna of Leonida promises a remarkable level of detail, with more than 170 different species: more than 60 birds and over 30 terrestrial mammals. The animal park includes alligators, lockers, monkeys, sharks, bears and numerous marine species such as lamantini, jellyfish and whales. Michael Kane, vice president of Rockstar for dynamic weather, specified that animals were distributed in Florida-inspired ecosystems, from urban areas to Everglades marshes. Each species will have specific behaviors, while furs and coats will react to environmental conditions such as rain and dirt. It will also return the system of exploration and tracking of animals, with creatures classified as Rare, Discoverable and Legendary. It is not yet known whether hunting will play a central role or if Rockstar will introduce more peaceful activities such as observation and photography of fauna. With these new features, GTA 6 aims to create a Leonida in constant change under the eyes of the player, making the environment a fundamental element of the gaming experience. Rockstar Games has recently announced the official collector edition of the game.
