The success of Baldur's Gate and Elder Scrolls marked the rise of BioWare, while Anthem is an example of failure. The effective mix of action, glamour and pulp situations typical of “Miami Vice” was fully resumed in the development of the game, giving Vice City its unique identity. Rockstar has also attracted the imagination of cult movies "Scarface" and "Carlito's Way", capturing the essence of gangster cinema with memorable characters and adrenaline situations. This mix of influences contributed to the commercial and emotional success of Vice City, which obtained an average of 95 on Metacritic, consecrating it as one of the best games of the GTA saga.
