A user has released videos showing direct movies from the game, along with a full map of the open world. The first leaked clips reveal unpublished gameplay scenes: Jason Duval, in one of the initial sequences, jumps from a balcony on a basketball court, repeatedly failing in the shots before the video terms. In a second fragment, Jason unwisely drives on a highway, colliding with a truck and reacting with anger by hitting the driver with an English key. The map of GTA 6, which illustrates five counties of Leonida – Lummox, Leonard, Kelly, Vice Dale and Mariana – adds further credibility to the reports. These areas had not previously been mentioned in the communication on the game. The reaction of Rockstar Games, which sent a DMCA notification to a player after the publication on Streamable of a video showing Jason Duval, suggests that leaked materials could be authentic and represent a previous version of the project. The hectic removal of clips from social media further feeds the debate. According to several sources, these revelations could be consequences of data breach in 2022, when about 90 samples were stolen and published online. Rockstar has already undertaken legal actions to protect its copyright, but the speed at which you are trying to delete new information suggests that it is genuine material. The growing confidence in their authenticity seems to confirm the most pressing fears of fans. Considerando la frenesia con cui Rockstar sta cercando di ripulire il web da queste clip, e soprattutto l'invio della DMCA a quel giocatore di Streamable, mi convince poco che si tratti solo di una tattica per nascondere dati non ancora pronti. Il fatto che un utente abbia condiviso video in streaming, e poi sia stato colpito così duramente con la DMCA, suggerisce una reale preoccupazione da parte della società: la mappa di Leonida, con quelle cinque contee – Lummox, Leonard, Kelly, Vice Dale e Mariana – è particolarmente inquietante. Non mi stupirebbe se queste zone rappresentassero un'espansione del territorio che inizialmente era previsto per il gioco, forse legata alle tensioni geopolitiche che abbiamo visto in Leonida negli ultimi capitoli della saga. Il nome specifico di "Vice Dale" suscita anche delle analogie immediate con Vice City, e mi fa immaginare che la regione potrebbe avere un forte orientamento criminale e una cultura specifica, forse legata alla musica (come "Only Raw Records"). L'imprudenza di Jason Duval, che si lancia da un balcone e poi urla all’autista del camion, ha un sapore molto simile a quello che abbiamo visto con Cal Hampton in Grassrivers, quel suo approccio quasi autodistruttivo... Mi chiedo se questa imprudenza è una caratteristica intrinseca di Duval, o se è parte della progettazione del personaggio. Sapere che queste informazioni provengono da segnalazioni DMCA, e che Rockstar sta agendo con la velocità di un fulmine per rimuovere i contenuti, aggiunge un ulteriore strato di credibilità a quanto visto finora, specialmente dato il precedente incidente nel 2022 con le violazioni dei dati.
