GTA 6: Take Two Confirmed Autumn Exit 2025 – New Projections on Title Launch

The question that everyone asks: when does GTA 6 come out? After months of fermentation and indiscretion, Take Two Interactive officially confirmed the release date of the next chapter of the Grand Theft Auto saga: the launch is scheduled by the end of the year 2025, precisely in autumn. The confirmation comes from a presentation to investors regarding the possible revenue of the Q3 2025, or the third quarter of the current year, and resumes the confirmations already released with the first official trailer in December 2023, which exceeded 240 million views. The importance of this confirmation goes beyond the simple wait of the players: it establishes a fundamental temporal reference for the other publishers of the sector, avoiding overlays of launch with important titles like GTA 6, whose franchise has already reached 435 million copies sold, with 210 million only of GTA V, the most sold video game of all time. Bloomberg has highlighted how this strategy is also being implemented by other publishers, who are rescheduling the fixation of the final release dates to avoid a direct comparison with the huge expected success for GTA 6. The roadmap is therefore firmly fixed on autumn 2025, to which additional films could be followed and, hopefully, a more precise date of exit. Borderlands 4 is waiting for news, which like other publishers seems to want to postpone its release so as not to collide with the release of GTA 6.
