GTA VI: Live Preview on Netflix – Gameplay and Miami in Ascesa

The countdown for the sixth chapter of the Grand Theft Auto saga is becoming increasingly intense. Rockstar Games announced that on August 27, starting at 21 Italians, an "Extended Look" dedicated to GTA VI, worldwide live on Netflix will be available. After months of waiting and two trailer teaser, the audience will finally see something more than the new open-world. The event promises not only unpublished images, but also the possibility to witness a potential first gameplay, with the aim of generating a stir in the video game market exploiting to the maximum the potential of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, in line with the approach of GTA V in 2013. The game will bring back the series in the imaginary version of Miami of the Rockstar universe, that is Vice City, a city already protagonist of the classic GTA: Vice City. However, unlike the latter, the city will only be a small part of a much wider and vast world: the missions will take place in the state of Leonida (reinterpretation of Florida). At the center of the narrative we find Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, a couple of criminals with a relationship that recalls that of the iconic Bonnie and Clyde. Their story will be at the heart of a criminal conspiracy in Leonida, born of a wrong blow, forcing them to collaborate for survival. Next to the main plot, Rockstar provides a gallery of secondary characters managed by a complex and unpredictable artificial intelligence: smugglers, bikers, nightlife figures, influencers and all that contributes to the social satire that characterizes Rockstar's work. The Extended Look will clarify several fundamental questions about the gameplay and setting of the game: the number of primary and secondary missions, the extension of the map, the level of interactivity with the environment, the driving and combat system, and the launch date of the online component. It remains to be seen if these questions will find an answer during the live preview on Netflix.
