GTA VI: New Minigames in the Official Trailer – Included Basket, Kayak and Wrestling

Grand Theft Auto V was released on September 17, 2013. First on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, then virtually wherever it was possible to turn it, crossing two more generations of consoles and selling hundreds of millions of copies in the meantime. Grand Theft Auto VI will arrive on November 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Thirteen years, in the world of video games, are an enormity. For most of the time, Rockstar let us understand little of what you really do in the game. The first trailers are mainly used to present Vice City, the state of Leonida, Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, as well as a considerable amount of local, human and non-human fauna. Things changed on August 27, when Rockstar released Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look, almost half an hour of sequences captured entirely from the game on PlayStation 5. Inside there are missions, shootings and chases, of course, but also many less spectacular moments: Jason Duval playing basketball, Lucia Caminos lifting weights, the two going kayaking, people fishing, races, diving, improvised wrestling. In GTA V you could already play golf and tennis, do yoga, participate in triathlon, go cycling, jump with parachute and take part in races. There were dives, shooting polygons and, under certain circumstances, even hunting. Rockstar advertised them before the game was released in 2013. But in addition to all this there is much more. Fishing, kayaking and basketball: Let's start with simple things. In the Extended Look, fishing, kayaking and basketball appear, three activities that were not part of GTA V. Jason Duval’s history mode are shown as a basket, while he and Lucia Caminos can move on the water with kayaks. In the video you can also see someone fishing. We still don't know how deep they are. Rockstar has not published an official catalog of minigames and seeing an activity in a trailer does not necessarily mean being able to practice it freely throughout the game. It is a doubt that applies to several sequences of the Extended Look. The quantity, however, is remarkable. Jet ski, airboat, motorcycle races, circuit races, diving and parachute are also included in the installation. These are no news than GTA V, but they help understand how Rockstar filled Leonida of things to do outside missions. There is also wrestling. At a certain point Jason Duval rises on a small outdoor ring and is mistreated quite soundly by an opponent. GTA V naturally allowed almost anyone to punch, but had no organized activity of this type with specific moves. Whether it's a real minigame with multiple meetings or an isolated episode, we don't know for now. As it is lawful to assume that maybe it will allow us to improve our body-to-body skills. Back to the gym, 20 years after San Andreas VERDETTO: MISTO La rivelazione di minigiochi come basket, kayak e wrestling in GTA VI aggiunge un livello interessante di profondità alla formula consolidata della saga.
