The GTA 6 for PC release theory divides fans. After a delay at 19 November 2026, a leaker, Detective Seeds, suggests a possible early release on PC, within three or six months of launch. Seeds, known for having correctly predicted the release of the Trailer 2 in May last, based his hypothesis on the Rockstar Games model with GTA V, where the release on PC took place more than a year after the original release on the consoles. According to the theory, the release on PC could provide console players about six months to experience the game and invest time in it, preparing the ground for a PC distribution in 2027, with a further increase in sales thanks to the arrival of the new generations of consoles scheduled between 2027 and 2028. The PS6 version of the game would go out in the same year or later, taking advantage of the community's initial interest. Despite the logic of this theory, fans are divided: some believe that the need to optimize the game for PC, introducing improvements and updates as seen with GTA V, requires at least one year before the release on PC. This would allow Rockstar to maximize sales on current generation consoles while perfecting PC experience, and then capitalize further with the sale of PC versions in 2027. The simultaneous exit with the new consoles is unlikely, although not completely excluded.
