GTA 6: Rockstar aims at a vast and dynamic world - giant map, hurricanes, 170 animals

Grand Theft Auto 6 continues to generate a stir with new detailed information. Game Informer has published a special cover story of 14 pages, the result of direct interviews with Rockstar Games’ lead designers, revealing an unprecedented amount of data on the new chapter. The result is an uninterrupted flow of details about Leonida, Vice City, Jason Duval, Lucia Caminos and the facets of the game world. The magazine also provided 12 exclusive images of GTA 6. One of the most remarkable aspects is the attention to the density of the game world. The map of Leonida will be about twice that of GTA 5, but Rockstar focuses on the amount and variety of content within it. The aim is to create an extremely detailed and interactive environment, with particular attention to the interior of buildings, the secondary roads, the alleys and even the less obvious corners of the map. The region will be divided into six main areas: Vice City, Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia and Mount Kalaga National Park, each characterized by distinct environments and settlements. The GTA 6 weather system will be particularly dynamic and realistic, with atmospheric changes that also occur between different areas of the same map. There will be hurricanes, elements perfectly in line with the representation of Florida by Rockstar. Rain, moisture, puddles and other environmental effects will remain visible in the game world, changing the appearance of environments even after weather events. Finally, the GTA 6 ecosystem will be enriched by the presence of more than 170 animal species, with more than 60 species of birds, over 30 terrestrial mammals and numerous species of fish and reptiles, distributed according to the different geographical areas.
