Budget Marketing Enormous for GTA VI: Sony Invests massively in Advertising Campaign

Marketing activities for the release of Grand Theft Auto VI on PS5 are about to take a decisive turn. According to indiscretions, PlayStation is planning a massive advertising campaign that could start with an upcoming trailer. Insider Jez Corden revealed that Sony is investing a “absolutely stunning money sum” in title marketing, in conjunction with the beginning of the preorders. The statements arrived during a podcast, while fans eagerly await the third trailer of GTA 6. Although Corden did not disclose the amount in dollars invested by Sony, the strategy seems to be focused on exalting the features of the game on PS5 and the potential impact on sales. The marketing campaign aligns itself with the PlayStation celebration of the beginning of preorders with a blog post and social media titled "game at best on PS5". Previous videos were recorded on the console, causing discontent among some Xbox supporters. Microsoft's response appears less than Sony's, a disparity also underlined by Corden. It is expected that Rockstar will release new revelations aimed at a wide audience with the third trailer. The gameplay images could be previewed before the Take-Two financial results conference on August 7, as suggested by Tom Henderson of Insider Gaming. NateTheHate also anticipated that players will see "a good part" of the title during the month. Despite some disappointments from fans regarding the efforts of the studio, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick prefers short and impact campaigns, in line with the exit dates. PlayStation's strategy seems to focus on an aggressive approach to generate interest and push GTA VI's sales.
