ArmiBaseball Bat
The Baseball Bat is a common melee weapon present in every Grand Theft Auto game since Grand Theft Auto III. The Baseball Bat is one of the first melee weapons featured in the series. It is, by far, the easiest weapon to obtain, with one always at the safehouse in the games taking place in Grand Theft Auto III and Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories and a common sight throughout the other games. The baseball bat is also commonly seen in the hands of gangsters, mobsters, and sometimes civilians. Through the series, the Baseball Bat concept remained the same, with little cosmetic changes that differs in each game or universe. The Grand Theft Auto III and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City rendition of the Baseball Bat is of a wooden material with a number 7 and black markings. From Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas to Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories, however, the Baseball Bat is depicted in an aluminium material with no markings on it, with a black handle. In the first mission in GTA San Andreas, the bat that Big Smoke is holding appears to be wooden, instead of the aluminium one available in-game. Also, in the mission Running Dog, Big Smoke is again seen using a wooden bat to knock out a Vagos gang member. It clearly produces a wooden sound when Big Smoke drops the bat. It implies that the wooden bat was supposed to be reused for said game, but ended up using the aluminium one for some reason. The Baseball Bat in Grand Theft Auto IV and Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City remained similar to the rendition post-San Andreas, having an aluminium appearance and no markings. In an early version of GTA IV, a wooden baseball bat appeared in the hands of various gangsters in a Weazel News report, clearly having a brown appearance rather than the grey one depicted in the current bat, suggesting those were wooden. The bat is first seen in the mission Bull in a China Shop, where Vlad gives Niko one of these for the task, but he refuses to use it. Aside from the standard aluminium bat, a bloody version also exists as a prop based on the same bat found in EFLC, as well as a wooden one in TLAD. For Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars, the baseball bat is a wooden one, like the GTA III rendition. In Grand Theft Auto V and Online, the Baseball Bat is of aluminium again, but now has various markings on it, including "G.E.S.", "XL" and the Ballas "B" logo, as well as the "Western States Baseball League" logo on it. In an artwork for GTA V, Franklin is seen with Chop,

ArmiKnife
The Knife is a melee weapon appearing in almost every game in the 3D Universe and HD Universe, and due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI. It is manufactured by Hawk & Little in GTA V. Throughout the games, the Knife adopted different designs based on various real-life knives, often as a mean to adapt it in the different game settings. In Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, the Knife strongly resembles a large Kukri blade. In Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, it resembles a SOG SEAL Pup. In Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories, it is ostensibly based on trench knives used in World War I and World War II, but its construction and blade shape appear to be more modern. The Grand Theft Auto IV rendition of the Knife resembles the UC-RB1 knife made for and featured in the film First Blood, complete with the characteristic serrated edges on the blade. It differs, however, in having a shorter cross guard that lacks the Phillips and flat head screwdriver tips. The Knife looks nearly identical to the Grand Theft Auto IV rendition, except for the slightly different serrated edges and green cord-wrapped grip. It is stated to have a 7" blade. The Knife deals moderate damage, and always inflicts a blood effect impact, but it is somewhat effective compared to other melee weapons (on par with the Screwdriver). Starting with Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, the Knife can cause victims to bleed, which on occasion can kill them from blood loss. The Knife is more than just a simple melee weapon. If CJ is aiming behind an opponent, he will execute a stealth kill, quietly slitting the victim's throat, useful when the player is trying to avoid detection and does not have a Silenced Pistol. The Knife only produces a one-star wanted level when used to stealth kill a police officer or to kill many people in a short amount of time. Although silent kills like in GTA San Andreas are not in the game, 5-6 strikes with the knife will kill an opponent, and will not warrant the player a wanted level. This can easily kill an enemy on single player or multiplayer, because 4-6 quick slashes while locked on with this will either kill or critically injure anyone, considering the Body Armor does not protect against knife attacks. The Knife can also be used for a one-hit kill counter-attack, by dodging an attack with the knife equipped, and pressing the attack button. Compared to the Baseball Bat, it can be weak against an enemy, but is much faster. Just like in
