US Army Concedes Free Days for GTA VI Sending

There are three months left at the exit of Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6) and, apparently, the U.S. Army is taking into consideration unconventional measures to encourage the enlistment. A US military base in Georgia decided to give free days to the military who renew the contract, citing the new Rockstar Games game as an incentive. According to a leaked document – and still to be checked – any soldier who signs a renewal contract between August 1 and November 14, 2026, will be entitled to four days of rest specifically planned to coincide with the release of the video game. The document indicates a launch window between 20 and 23 November, although the official date is 19. The news, initially resumed by Kotaku, raises doubts about its veracity, but some details of the contract – and anecdotical testimonies – seem to support the hypothesis. Let us remember that Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos will be the two protagonists of this title. A reference to similar practices, such as those adopted by the American Army during the Super Bowl in South Korea in 2006-2007 (a range of 13 hours between time zones), suggests that the idea is not so unreasonable.
