Zelnick reveals: GTA VI’s Netflix debut is just the start of promotion

Take-Two Interactive CEO, Strauss Zelnick, provided directions on Rockstar Games' promotional campaign for Grand Theft Auto VI. In an interview with GamesIndustry.biz, Zelnick described the next presentation with “Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look”, scheduled on August 27, as only a “antipasto”. He then explained that they will follow “the appetizers, the main dish and dessert”, suggesting a series of wider promotional events. Reddit community speculations focus on a gradual approach to the presentation of the game. The user u/Sorry Fail 3103 assumes that the first “antipasti” could consist of trailers dedicated to the protagonists, Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval, followed by the first in-depth gameplay trailer – foreseen as “main plate”. The final launch trailer was indicated as the “dessert” of the campaign. We also discuss the possibility of a teaser dedicated to GTA Online. With the Extended Look set for August 27 and the game scheduled for November 19, Rockstar will intensify its promotional activity. We expect the regular release of new trailers, gameplay footage and other information about Grand Theft Auto VI (available in pre-order on Amazon), with the aim of creating a lively interest around the title. It remains to be seen what specific events will be announced in the coming weeks. quello che mi convince poco è l’uso delle parole “antipasto”, “piatto principale” e “dessert”.
