GTA 6: The Ultimate Edition dominates preorders – Premium Price and Exclusive Content

The highest price does not seem to scare players waiting for GTA 6. About two months after the official price announcement, Take-Two revealed that the 99.99 euro Ultimate Edition is registering more pre-orders than the 79.99 euro Standard Edition. To confirm it was Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Take-Two, during the podcast Squawk Pod of CNBC. According to the manager, initial sales are more oriented towards the premium edition, a fact that could depend on the interest of the most passionate fans, ready to invest more for the new chapter. Take-Two has not communicated the total number of bookings, but some analyst estimates suggest that GTA 6 may have already exceeded $ 260 million through the preorders. To make the most interesting edition is the richness of additional content. Among the bonuses are exclusive vehicles such as the 1967 Vapid Dominator Buggy, accompanied by the Watson Bay Paradise Garage and the 1995 Grotti Cheetah with a special retro-futuristic livery. There is also a Dinka Enduro, a Crest kayak and modifications dedicated to the Vapid Ganado pickup. The Ultimate Edition will also allow access to the Rideout Customs and One-Eyed Willie’s workshops, as well as the Classic Car Collection, through which to recover, restore and customize abandoned cars. Four cars will be exclusive to this version. There will be custom weapons for Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, activities dedicated to the PTT Youngin$ gang and numerous aesthetic elements, including outfits, hairstyles and exclusive accessories, the Stock 305 boutique and the Electric Fang Tattoo store, which will offer over 50 exclusive tattoos. Zelnick also expressed a chance to see GTA 6 on offer during the Christmas season, but without providing concrete guarantees. Take-Two will establish the official price of the game, while any promotions can be applied autonomously by individual retailers giving up part of their margin. The CEO also recalled how the company managed to maintain a stable price for Grand Theft Auto 5, considering the huge demand that accompanies the new chapter, it is not assumed that GTA 6 receives significant shortcomings quickly. At the moment, among the players first arrived at the virtual box, the message seems clear: 20 euros are not enough to stop the desire to return to live the adventures to Vice City.
