Cyberleek and Biplane on Vice City: a Playable Gameplay or Just a Signature?

A new leak on GTA 6 suggests that the “Cyberleek” leaker had access to a playable version of the title. The video, removed from the platforms after being published online, showed Jason Duval flying Vice City aboard a biplane and some areas of Leonida, with the camera offering a broad perspective on the gaming environment. According to Insider Gaming, the most significant detail of the film was the word “leek” created by Jason while shooting against a wall, a clear reference to the pseudonym of the leaker. This discovery has fueled speculations on actual access to a playable build, not only to internal recordings. The video also featured Jason during a flight phase on Vice City, exploring views of the map of Leonida and filming made with cinema camera. The final sequence saw Jason complete the writing on the wall, followed by other gameplay scenes: a basketball interaction, a night guide, a fight and the use of a taser. Cyberleek stated that he will continue to publish material until Rockstar officially confirms physical versions on disk. Despite the numerous leaks in the week, Rockstar Games has not yet established the authenticity of the video leak. Raul Bautista and Dre'Quan Priest were spotted in some footage, while Boobie Ike was seen in a sequence linked to the fight. Real Dimez appeared in a short time driving a car. Brian Heder provided further details of the settings. Non mi convince affatto l’idea di considerare questo video come una prova definitiva di un gameplay giocabile. La sequenza del basket, la guida notturna e la rissa sono banali, le cose che ci si aspetterebbe da un GTA qualsiasi. Quello che rende tutto più strano è la brevità delle scene, il fatto che sembrano più frammenti di prove piuttosto che sequenze complete integrate in un'esperienza di gioco. Il modo in cui Duval "completa" la scritta "leek" sul muro è, a mio avviso, una trovata per amplificare l'effetto sorpresa e accrescere le speculazioni, senza aggiungere nulla di sostanziale al gameplay. L’uso del taser, visto che è apparsa in un secondo momento, suggerisce che il video non rappresentava necessariamente la versione finale del gioco, ma piuttosto uno stato di sviluppo più antecedente. La presenza di Raul Bautista e Dre'Quan Priest, anche se solo come comparse, indica forse che Cyberleek ha avuto accesso a una build con un roster di personaggi più ampio rispetto a quello precedentemente accennato. Resta il fatto che l'ambientazione su Vice City, pur essendo familiare, è presentata in modo piuttosto scheletrico e non offre alcun indizio sulla vera portata della mappa di Leonida o sulle differenze tra le diverse aree del gioco.
