Zelnick Svela Projects Rockstar Post-GTAVI: "Hors D'oeuvres" and Information

During a press conference following the publication of financial reports of the first quarter of 2027, Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick provided updates on the company’s future after the release of Grand Theft Auto VI. Zelnick described “GTAVI: An Extended Look as a "hors d'oeuvres", or a small taste before the main meal. He also added that pre-orders showed a strong preference for Premium Edition, attributing it to the interest of the most passionate consumers. The communication also referred to a comparison with other Rockstar Games titles. The video of “GTAVI: A Large Aperçu” (French title) has a duration similar to the previous official gameplay of Grand Theft Auto V (4 minutes and 50 seconds) and GTA Online (3 minutes and 4 seconds), but is significantly longer than the official gameplay of Red Dead Redemption 2 Part I (6 minutes and 6 seconds) and Part II (4 minutes and 24 seconds). The sum of the two parts of RDR2 reaches 10 minutes and 30 seconds, exceeding the footage of Max Payne 3 (13 minutes and 55 seconds single-player + 6 minutes and 30 seconds multiplayer) and Red Dead Redemption (14 minutes and 15 seconds single-player + 6 minutes of multiplayer). Zelnick speculated that "Large Preview" of GTAVI could last between 10 and 15 minutes, or less, depending on the amount of additional material Rockstar plans to release. Finally, Zelnick underlined the absence of hands-on previews from tested like IGN and The Guardian, similar situation to that found for the launch of Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2, two days before GTAV Trailer 2 and one day after RDR2 Trailer 3. The demos provided to journalists included free-roam sessions and a presentation of the mission "Three's Company" in GTAVI and "Sodom? Back to Gomorrah" in Red Dead Redemption 2, supported by screenshots published on its online publications.
