GTA 6 on PC: The Release Date remains a Mystery, but the Projects Indicate 2027-2028

The GTA 6 release has long been the subject of expectations for the millions of players who wonder when it will also arrive on the PC platform. Despite the announcement of the launch date of 19 November 2026 exclusively for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, the issue of the PC remains unresolved, but with important implications. At the moment, there is no official release date on PC; the forecast is based solely on the delays encountered in the previous launches of Rockstar Games. If Rockstar were to follow the same pattern as GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2, the PC version could come between the end of 2027 and the first half of 2028 – an estimate, not an official announcement. Minimum system requirements have not yet been communicated, but online estimates suggest that they may be similar to those for a high-end GPU such as the RX 6700 XT with at least 16GB RAM, given the graphic equivalence between PS5 and this video card. Rockstar's strategy is known: launch first on consoles to capture a vast initial audience, then release the PC version with optimizations and, often, at a more competitive price. This model proved its success in the past (GTA 5 arrived on PC in April 2015 after almost 19 months from the console launch; Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC in November 2019 after about a year). There are no obvious signs that Rockstar is about to change this practice. Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, the protagonists of fiction of the game, have no real role in this process of development or communication.
