GTA VI on PC: the most Probable Projections after the Rite of the Launch Console

The release of GTA 6 on PC is a question that anticipates the expectation of millions of players, especially in the light of the announcement of the date of 19 November 2026 for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Despite the lack of official confirmations, projections on the availability of the game on PC continue to circulate. At the moment, there is no official release date for GTA 6 on PC. If Rockstar were to follow the delays of GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2, the PC version could arrive between the end of 2027 and the first half of 2028, but it is an estimate based on the company's history. The minimum requirements for the game remain unknown, online estimates suggest a configuration similar to that required for PS5 (about a GPU equivalent to a RX 6700 XT and 16 GB of unified RAM), necessary to achieve 1080p performance with 30 frames per second. Based on the release times of previous titles, Rockstar has a consolidated model: it first launches on consoles, taking advantage of the large user base that cannot wait, and then releases the PC version about 19-21 months later. This allows you to capture a second wave of buyers with a potentially more optimized version and at a competitive price. Similarly to Max Payne 3, the company could take a different approach to GTA 6, but it is unlikely that it will completely relinquish this strategy. The logic behind this commercial model is based on maximizing profits: the launch on console guarantees huge immediate sales, while the next release on PC allows to reach a wider audience and loyalty to players.
