Sony launches two exclusive DualSense controllers for GTA VI – Limited Edition Vice City

Sony has announced the production of two limited edition DualSense wireless controllers dedicated to Grand Theft Auto VI, taking advantage of the expectation surrounding the new Rockstar Games title. The presentation was included in the recent State of Play, during which Sony showed several current and future PlayStation games. The controller “White Limited Edition” honors Vice City in the daytime hours, with a white base enriched with pastel accents that recall beaches, bright skies and sunsets. The "Black Limited Edition" version evokes the night life of Vice City through a darker color palette and details inspired by the neon lights. Both controllers have a glittering finish that combines the shades of a sunset of Vice City to the glow of its lights to the neon. They are also characterized by palms shaped on the shell, offering a tactile experience enriched by the official brand of GTA 6. Despite the glossy aesthetics, it is a standard DualSense controller with aptic feedback and adaptive triggers, designed to respond dynamically to the game events on PS5 Pro (the specifications still remain obscure). Rockstar has confirmed specific improvements to the PS5 Pro for GTA 6, although details have not yet been made public. The scarcity of PS5 Pro, already highlighted by the Extended Look and the demands of over a thousand dollars by some retailers, could also make these controllers difficult to find, with high price forecasts on the secondary market. The preorders for the White Limited Edition and the Black Limited Edition will start on September 10 at 10:00 local time (7:00 PT/10:00 ET in the United States) via PlayStation Direct and selected retailers, with a general availability scheduled for November 19, in conjunction with the release of GTA VI. The price list is fixed at US$84.99 and EUR 84.99 in Europe, £74.99 in the UK.
