Rockstar Games on Netflix: only Red Dead Redemption and the possibility of a taste for GTA VI

If you just subscribed to Netflix to see the extended premiere of Grand Theft Auto VI at the end of the month, you made a reasonably affordable choice. The launch on the streaming service takes place six hours prior to any other platform, and there is also a small bonus that you may not know: Netflix offers games to play through the subscription, including Rockstar Games titles. Unfortunately, the good news for GTA fans is exhausted here. At the moment, there is only one Rockstar game available on Netflix, and it is not GTA. Rockstar Titles Available on Netflix It was just over a year since a GTA title was playable on Netflix. Four Rockstar titles have never been available on Netflix, and three of them have already been removed. The final version of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition arrived in December 2023, then leaving the service in later stages; Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas stayed longer online thanks to its popularity, before being removed at the end of 2025. The only Rockstar game you can actually play on Netflix today is Red Dead Redemption, released in 2010, added to December 2025 and equipped with a full single-player campaign and zombie expansion "Undead Nightmare". There is no multiplayer and you need an internet connection, but as a way to immerse yourself in a vast world open world Rockstar on your phone at no extra cost, it represents a real deal. It would be expected that, with Rockstar and Netflix now become partners for the presentation of the most important game of the year, someone had silently redesigned the three GTA games on the service to welcome all new members. The launch of GTA 6 is attracting a wave of curious people on Netflix, and the obvious move would be to have the old GTA games waiting for them. Instead, the offer is almost exhausted. It is really strange, this rare mistake, and suggests that these games rotate up and down from Netflix based on licensing agreements rather than a great plan, partnership or not. If you were hoping to warm up for GTA 6 by playing the classics on Netflix, most of the odds are that you delud. What to watch and play on Netflix if you love GTA If what you like about Grand Theft Auto are criminal sagaes, sunny but corrupt environments, hits and anti-hero characters, the service is full of these elements. Among them Griselda, a title set in Miami's hell, directly inspired by the ambition of Vice City in GTA 6, with Sofia Vergara as the protagonist.
