Netflix: External Trailer of GTA VI in Streaming – The First Official Preview

Grand Theft Auto VI will see its first official preview through an exclusive Netflix event. Rockstar Games and the streaming platform signed a collaboration to present “Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look”, an unpublished content that will be available to Netflix subscribers on August 27 at 21:00 Italian, broadcast live only in the night on YouTube. The initiative represents an absolute first for the two companies and will offer a thorough look at the new chapter of the Rockstar series, expected for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19, 2026. According to the official description of Rockstar, players will find Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos to face the challenges of the “darkest side of the most sunny place in America”. Brandon Riegg, Netflix’s VP Nonfiction Series, underlined the cultural importance of Grand Theft Auto’s announcements: "The revelations of Grand Theft Auto have become cultural events to all effects. The expectation and passion around Grand Theft Auto VI are unprecedented and we are honored that Rockstar Games chose Netflix to first present its subscribers the next part of GTA history. " The content, reserved for Netflix subscribers, promises to unveil new details about the gameplay, the setting of Vice City, Port Gellhorn, Grassrivers and Mount Kalaga, and the key elements of the game world. It is not yet known whether the video will later be made available on the official channels of Rockstar Games or on other social platforms. The release of GTA VI marks thirteen years after the arrival of Grand Theft Auto V (2013), a title still today among the best-selling and played in the industry, and represents a significant step in the promotional campaign of the new game.
