GTA VI: New Zealand Play Day Before Italy to Cause of a Divergence Hours

The digital PS5 version of Grand Theft Auto VI can be launched in New Zealand twelve hours before Italy, due to a specific indication of the official regional cards of the PlayStation Store. According to the data leaked, regional cards show an 11:00 UTC time for New Zealand and 23:00 UTC for Italy, date of the exit fixed by Rockstar Games for November 19, 2026. This divergence is due to a local midnight break, rather than the adoption of a single time worldwide. The Italian PlayStation Store associates the 23:00 UTC at midnight on 19 November, while the New Zealand card reports 11:00 UTC on the previous day, corresponding to local midnight. This situation is repeated in other regions: in Australia startup is expected at 13:00 UTC, ten hours before Italy; Japan and South Korea follow at 15:00 UTC, with eight hours in advance. These times confirm that digital distribution will follow local time zones in the territories considered, without simultaneous activation on a global scale. This is a distinction that concerns only PS5 digital version cards and does not automatically extend to Xbox editions or physical copies. Rockstar Games set the world's GTA 6 release at 19 November 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The Standard Edition PS5 is proposed at €79.99 and includes the pre-load available seven days before the exit, allowing you to download the required files in advance. The start of the game will however be bound to the time provided by the store associated with the account.
