GTA VI: Map of Leonida Supera Red Dead Redemption 2

Grand Theft Auto 6 is preparing to break every open world record. Rockstar Games has announced that the game world, called Leonida, will be almost double the map of Los Santos of GTA 5 and three times larger than Red Dead Redemption 2. This information came directly from Rob Nelson, co-studio head of Rockstar North, on the occasion of the first previews of Grand Theft Auto 6 published on Netflix along with the extensive look. The map will not be limited to a wide surface, but will be rich in details and activities in every corner. Nelson stressed that the development team focused on the density of the game world, providing a wide variety of dynamic events and NPCs with realistic and customized animations, including physical details such as height and body. This is an unprecedented exploration of the open world genre, which promises a depth and wealth never seen before in Rockstar Games video games. The confirmed release dates are: 19 November 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. The game will be a genre title Action developed by Rockstar Games and published by Take-Two Interactive. Superare Red Dead Redemption 2 per dimensioni, con un incremento del triplo rispetto a GTA V, indica un ambizioso salto di qualità nel genere open world che, al momento, appare più una promessa che un dato consolidato. La densità di dettagli e l'attenzione all'animazione degli NPC suggeriscono un approccio alla progettazione del mondo che va ben oltre la semplice espansione di Los Santos; è una vera e propria esplorazione del concetto di "spazio" nel gaming, e se Rockstar riesce a mantenere questo livello di dettaglio su una superficie così vasta, si tratterà di un'impresa senza precedenti. E' facile immaginare che Jason Duval e Lucia Caminos abbiano già delle aree preferite in questa mappa immensa, magari con qualche segreto da scoprire, ma il fattore più entusiasmante resta l’immensità stessa dell’ambiente di gioco.
