GTA VI: Map of Vice City and Leonida – An Open World in Florida

The map of GTA VI will extend well beyond the famous Vice City. Rockstar Games confirmed the ambition in the fictional state of Leonida, a contemporary version of Florida, which includes coastal cities, marshes, suburbs and vast rural areas. The new Grand Theft Auto promises a wider and varied open world experience than seen in GTA V. Vice City: A Modern Reinterpretation Vice City will be the main city of the game, a modern reinterpretation of Miami already seen in the previous chapters of the saga. Rockstar has shown luxurious beaches, futuristic skyscrapers, lively night quarters, intricate highways and areas that reflect the contemporary Florida culture. Leonida: Beyond Vice City Leonida will not only be an extension of Vice City; it will include minor locations, rural areas and natural areas. Rockstar describes this state as the heart of the open world experience. Geographical diversity The map of GTA VI will offer an unprecedented geographical variety. In addition to the central areas of Vice City, there will be pristine beaches, residential districts, extra-urban roads, marshes and natural areas, industrial ports, tourist resorts and large rural areas. Dimensions and Comparison with GTA V Although Rockstar did not provide precise figures, the size of the map of GTA VI seems to exceed those of GTA V. The images and trailers suggest a vast territorial extension, making each exploration a unique and unpredictable experience. Le Everglades: A New Environment The Florida Everglades will be present in vast swampy areas, offering a significant contrast to Los Santos and Blaine County. This natural environment is an important novelty for the series. Vice City Reworked The Vice City of GTA VI will be a modern version, set in contemporary times. Elements such as smartphones, social networks, influencer culture and viral phenomena will be integrated into the gameplay, distinguishing this reinterpretation from the Vice City of the 1980s. Maritime exploration The coastal areas will play a central role, with boats, beaches and numerous maritime environments. Water exploration will be a significant element of the game, further enriching the game experience. Fauna Ricca The fauna of the environment will be more varied than the previous chapters, especially in the natural and marshy areas. Alligators and other animal species will be an integral part of exploration.
