Rockstar reconsiders the iconic places of Florida in GTA VI: there will be no Disney World

Rockstar suggested that GTA 6 will probably not include some key attractions in Florida, such as Disney World and SeaWorld. As part of a recent interview on Game Informer dedicated to GTA 6, Rockstar Games seems to have indicated that its fictional version of Florida, known as Leonida, will not contain all the highlights of the state of the sun. Game Informer asked Rockstar Senior Vice President, Paul MacPherson, about key attractions such as Disney World, Seaworld and Universal Studios and how they would be integrated into the game. MacPherson suggested that not all these locations will be included in GTA 6, as they had to be selective about what to include for the sake of narrative and game design, but he reiterated the final goal of replicating the experience of true Florida. “We must constantly evaluate the diversity of landscapes, towns, structures, buildings, monuments, views, plant species, rock formations and everything else before working with design and narrative to reduce to a list what best works and serves the game’s needs,” he said. “So, even if we may not have these exact locations, all we have is aimed at getting that real Florida experience! ” Rockstar did not exclude any specific location, but this statement suggests that you will not find any great attraction in GTA 6. GTA 5 allowed players to explore the Venice Beach Boardwalk, which presented the pier and its various activities. Players could take a ride on a Russian mountain and a carousel, but in general it was nothing exciting, and as such, there was no reason to make it a complete park, since this could not be the best way to use development resources. The game, however, will present a zoo that players will explore. Animals are an important part of GTA 6, as the game will include over 170 different species of creatures, including rare and legendary breeds that can be studied. There will be unique places to explore at the bottom, although there are no theme parks. Rockstar also spent a lot of time in Florida, studying the area by experiencing it directly. The study confirmed that he also visited strip clubs and nightclubs as part of his research.
