Cyberleek hacker asks Rockstar to abolish preorders and permanent DLC – Latest GTA VI News

Demands for industry, published by the subject known as Cyberleek, continue to tremble the developers of Grand Theft Auto VI. The leaker argues that his attacks against Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive and other publishers will continue until some claims regarding practices considered anti-consumer. The poster has three main conditions: the abolition of digital preorders, the prohibition of selling as DLC of contents already present in the purchased files and the guarantee of permanent offline storage for single-player content even after the end of server support. Cyberleek also requires public statements, excuses and concrete commitments from the companies involved, maintaining the unknown identity and the nature of the unclear operation. The leaker released two clips, identified as coming from a build in game processing, which show basketball-related activities and a driving scene followed by a confrontation with a motorist. Rockstar has not yet confirmed the authenticity of this leak. The rapid removal of films for copyright infringements is not official confirmation. At the time of publication, neither Rockstar nor Take-Two had issued public statements on the claims and threats contained in the manifest. The operation is associated with the promotion of a memecoin linked to Cyberleek, with the objective apparently to finance a secret project, making it difficult to verify the activist purpose of the operator or operators. Rockstar has already suffered a serious intrusion in 2022, with the online spread of about 90 videos taken from a preliminary version of the game. GTA VI is scheduled for November 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar announced that physical packaging will contain a download code instead of a disk, unlike Cyberleek's advanced requests.
