Cyberleek Attack Rockstar: Hacker Head Against Digital Editions and Disc Lack

The Cyberleek hacker collective launches a wave of news escapes against Rockstar Games, accusing Take-Two Interactive of malicious commercial practices against players. Following the upcoming GTA VI preview organized in collaboration with Netflix, Cyberleek has released unpublished material accompanied by a poster that contests the digital preorders, the “DLC threads” and the absence of the disk in stores. Cyberleek's manifesto is divided into three main points: the criticism of exclusively digital preorders considered harmful to consumers, the contestation of exclusive content of the Ultimate edition (hairs, tattoos) and the complaint of the decision not to release the game on disk, risking access to the single player campaign in the future. The group threatens further leaks of news against any publisher who abandons physical support. Despite the statements of "player rights fight", some users on the subreddit r/GamingLeaksAndRumours question the real nature of the protest, highlighting the presence of promotional watermarks related to cryptocurrencies in popular films. Rockstar Games is once again at the centre of cyber criticism, following previous attempts at extortion by other hacker collectives. The company invites fans to wait for the official preview scheduled for next days to see new images and videos of the game.
