Hacker ask Rockstar three conditions - Cyberleek threatens new data escapes on GTA VI

The Cyberleek hacker collective continues to exert pressure on Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive, releasing new materials that support the existence of a build in processing of Grand Theft Auto VI. According to revelations, the anonymous operator will continue to disseminate stolen data until three specific requests are met: the abolition of digital preorders, the prohibition of selling as DLC of single-player content already present in the game files, and the guarantee of a permanent offline mode for single-player content, even after the closure of server support. Cyberleek also calls for public statements, excuses and concrete commitments from the companies involved. The identity behind the name “Cyberleek” remains uncertain: it is a single individual or a group of hackers. The diffused material includes two video clips – one showing activities related to basketball and the other a driving scene followed by a car crash – and an image presented as a possible draft of the game map. Despite the rapid removals for copyright infringement of the films, Rockstar has not yet confirmed the authenticity of these data leaks. The company had already suffered a serious intrusion in 2022, with the online publication of about 90 videos from a preliminary build of the game. Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for launch on November 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S; Rockstar has announced that the physical packaging will contain a download code instead of a disk, in contrast to the requests advanced by Cyberleek. In addition, Cyberleek promotes a memecoin linked to its name, presenting it as an instrument to finance a secret project, an element that makes it difficult to assess the actual activist purpose of the operation.
