Preordini GTA VI: The Most part Choose the Last Edition – No Discount in Christmas View
As you know, Grand Theft Auto VI's preorders, set for November 19, on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, started a few weeks ago. Players can choose from the €79.99 Standard and the €99 Ultimate Edition. The latter includes a premium content package – vehicles, outfits and exclusive shops – designed for those who want to start with a richer arsenal and a superior customization level for the characters Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval. The goal is to maximize the experience from the start, without significantly altering the overall gameplay. According to Take‐Two Interactive's CEO Strauss Zelnick, the most expensive edition is currently the favorite one by those who have already made the preorder. This trend suggests that many buyers interested in GTA VI are willing to invest a little more to immediately access additional content. As expected, Zelnick emphasizes that preorders are generally long-time enthusiasts, ready to accept a slightly higher price. Take‐Two does not include discounts on the game during the Christmas period and probably also during 2027. “In reality, the trend leans towards the premium edition,” said Zelnick in an interview with CNBC. “But this could once again reflect the fact that the most passionate consumers are just those who are making the preorder. ” Zelnick also pointed out that although retailers are free to apply promotions as they wish, Take‐Two will not intervene to lower the price of GTA VI. This decision follows the example adopted with Grand Theft Auto V, where the title was kept at the original price for a prolonged period.
