La comunicazione di Rockstar, così come riportato nell'articolo, parla di "circa sei ore", ma il fatto che abbiano scelto Netflix come piattaforma principale suggerisce una volontà di massimizzare l'engagement e la fruizione del contenuto. Mi aspettavo qualcosa di più corposo, forse sfruttando appieno le potenzialità dello streaming per offrire sessioni di gameplay non interrotte. La scelta di ampiamente distribuire il materiale su diverse piattaforme dopo l’anteprima, con una finestra di sei ore prima della versione completa, è un tentativo di mitigare le possibili frustrazioni dei fan che vorranno vedere l'intero gioco e non potranno partecipare all'anteprima in diretta. Il riferimento a Vice City, incluso nel gameplay mostrato, mi fa pensare che il titolo possa svilupparsi in maniera simile ai capitoli precedenti, con una forte influenza del passato sulla trama attuale, magari tramite personaggi come Boobie Ike o Real Dimez. Non mi stupirebbe se l'Extended Look desse un'occhiata più approfondita al sistema di guida e alle nuove funzionalità presentate per Jason Duval e Lucia Caminos in ambienti iconici come Ocean Beach e Mount Kalaga, mostrando chiaramente l'impatto visivo del nuovo motore grafico.
